Busy week

Well this week my new laptops trial period ended for my Microsoft home and student 2007, which caused me to go looking for a new version.  I found that the Microsoft website had a 60 day trial for the new Microsoft home and student 2010, so I am going to see if I like it and then buy it later.  I like these versions because the program that I have on my computer called WordPad doesn't have spell check or count the words, which is a major need for school assignments.  I was messing around and found several things you can customize in the new program such as; background color, ribbon settings, and a few other things I didn't know you could change.  Last week we did the R-SUN-R note taking and believe me, it wasn't fun trying to figure out how to make the darn table correctly. It took me a good hour and a half, messing with the thing and I finally got it just the way I wanted it.  I am definitely saving it for future reference.  We also did outlines for the notes, which is not my favorite thing to do unless I am using it to organize a paper or speech, other than that I don't find them easy enough.  So far so good with my homework though, so I can't complain to much.  I find myself being very on top of things this year and I hope to continue to do so in my school work and life in general.  My goals are set for this year for many things, and I hope to complete all of them successfully, with a lot of happiness.
